Penny died of cancer peacefully on January 1, 2024.
Typical of Penny, she texted her daughter, Diane, at 7:20AM on January 1 to find out where her travel suitcase was. Diane responded, "It's in your closet, Mom". Penny passed 5 minutes later! Always the planner.
