Anne Marie born 1975, Swedish foreign exchange student; learned Mandarin at the Monterey Army Defence More…Language Institute; Taiwan foreign exchange scholarship, traveled to Kashgar, China; University of Washington graduate; lives in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Graduated 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose University. Visited relatives in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Joined American Youth Hostels and after bicycle riding the one day Davis Double Century began racing. Three times California State Women's Road Bicycle Racing Champion. Married in 1971 and went back to the land in Tenmile, Oregon. Bred champion production and show quality dairy goats. 1976 moved to greater Chehalis/Centralia area of Washington. 1984 graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering Technology from Centralia College, and began working for Washington State Department of Transportation. Ran a few 10K and joined a team for the Hood to Coast run, participated in a Triathelon. With continued study attained a Professional Engineer license. Retired Dec. 1, 2009. I've visited Sweden & Norway with my daughter, visited my daughter in Taiwan, been to Australia with Brian, and to England three times. I still participate in Society for Creative Anachronism events, and have lately taken up quilting. This weekend I plan to visit my sister Ann, stop by Beach Elementary, and be at the reunion.

July 2011 my brother Bruce and I each paddled a days worth with the Snoqualmie tribe in their dugout canoe on the annual Canoe Journey across Puget Sound.
