Ben and I were in school together for years, starting in Fifth Grade at Beach. When we were in high school, we were both helpers in the Principal's Office on the same shift. During college, I was a camp counselor at Bass Lake; and, on a overnight hike in Yosemite, I ran into Ben, who was working at the park. What a coincidence. Ben was very smart and nice. I know that he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
