Richard had a great sense of humor. We would laugh to much in the library, which may account for my grades. I would have him over for a swim now and then hoping it would help his condition. I believe he suffered from a bout with polio. He will be missed.
I sat in front of you in our 11th grade algebra or geometry class. I marveled at how upfront you were with your interests. The pocket protector wasn't standard attire and the slide rule was pretty over the top. You sure could whip off solutions with it. Thanks for teaching me how to use it!
